Moor Allerton have confirmed the date and cost of their Amateur Classic and a few other dates have also been announced. The Yorkshire Amateur Championship will be played at Pannal Golf Club in 2010 and the dates for this are now know.

2-FORE!-1 are proud to announce a milestone in golf history - their 1,000th course!

UK courses are benefiting from joining their scheme, which has now firmly placed 2-Fore!-1 Golf as the leader in discount golf services!

1,000th Course is Turnberry!
Turnberry is one of the world's most iconic golfing venues, the resort and courses spectacularly overlooking the Ayrshire coastline, Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran. It's the home of a luxury five star hotel and two world-class links courses, namely the Ailsa and the neighbouring Kintyre which has just agreed to accept 2-Fore!-1 vouchers.

It's a welcome return to 2-Fore!-1 for the Kintyre which came out on top in Today's Golfer's Top 100 2-Fore!-1 Courses awards in 2006. In the summer of course the Ailsa successfully staged the Open Championship won by American star Stewart Cink.

2-Fore!-1 Golf in the cities
There's some great 2-Fore!-1 Golf to be enjoyed in and around Britain's main cities - even at this time of the year - and we kick-off this new series by checking out Coventry's 2-Fore!-1 Golf highlights.

Top of the pile has got to be the Marriott Forest of Arden, home of regular European Tour layout the Arden which is ably supported by the not-so-demanding Aylesford track.

Not far adrift in the must-play stakes is The Warwickshire which also boasts two superb contrasting courses (the Kings and Earls).

Nuneaton is a splendidly mature parkland layout well worth paying a visit - it's available in 2-Fore!-1 Golf in midweek in winter - and you'll also enjoy an outing at Henley G&CC which has a par-73 parkland layout, a nine-hole par-3 course and first-rate facilities.

Don't forget, with a 2-Fore!-1 Golf voucher you can play for half-price at all the above golf courses.

The holes offer a good blend of 'risk and reward' while several greens have the undulations and borrows for which his designs became famous.

Measuring just under 6,000 yards and with a par of 70 Cleckheaton enjoys a pleasant parkland setting and provides golfers of all abilities with an enjoyable challenge.
